Career Monitoring Survey for graduates of university of applied sciences in 2017

What is the work and career situation of UAS graduates five years after graduation? Does the competence gained in UAS studies match the requirements of working life.

We explore these themes with a nationwide career monitoring survey, which targets all those who graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s or  a Master’s degree from a Finnish UAS. The survey is conducted in all UASs across Finland. The survey is carried out by the UASs together with CSC – Center for Science Information Technology Ltd.

You can see the results in the Education Administration’s statistical service Vipunen, as well as in the töissä.fi online career service, which presents graduates’ jobs and career paths.

 

How does the survey work?

Respondents will be approached via email and text message. Your university of applied sciences will contact you, and you will be asked to fill in a survey.. Your background information is extracted from Virta national data repository maintained by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Basic information about your degrees is collected as part of the background data, so the survey does not ask questions related to this separately. Responses will be treated confidentially and no individual respondent can be identified.
