Career monitoring network
A nationwide career monitoring network, which consists of the representatives of the universities of applied sciences, has been established to carry out the career monitoring survey and disseminate information on career monitoring.
The network’s main task is to agree on joint procedures, process the feedback from the survey and develop the survey and the use of career monitoring data.
The role of the Rectors’ Conference of Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences, Arene, consists of approving the contents, schedules, joint principles and ethical questions of the survey, as well as annual participation in the nationwide communications. Arene also appoints a steering group for the career monitoring survey.
The universities of applied sciences, responsible for the career monitoring survey (4–6 universities of applied sciences) form the career monitoring team. The team is responsible for executing and developing the survey and making the operative decisions related to its implementation. Meanwhile, one designated UAS makes the contracts with CSC and Otus and collects the resources from the universities of applied sciences.
The leader of the responsible universities of applied sciences reports to the career monitoring network and the Rectors’ Conference of Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences Arene on the implementation of the survey and runs the career monitoring network.
All the operations are guided by the ethical principles mentioned in Carrying out the survey.
